So, from childhood has been repeated to us: breakfast is very important.
I am a “breakfast person”. I’m hungry in the morning and I want to eat.
And there is a huge difference between Workdays and Weekends. On Workday mornings I am so sleepy and not able to act or cook. I prefer to have breakfast something very easy to prepare.
But On Weekends  I have time. Weekend Breakfast is more complicated. A lot of Estonians has a tradition: Sunday Pancakes. I usually cannot eat sweets in the morning but I like for Weekends to prepare some eggs: fried, omelette, scrambled, boiled…

Talking about breakfast habits I have to admit that as probably everywhere, Estonians has different preferences and habits 🙂

How to do Homemade Spruce Tips Mayonnaise. Video. Kuusevõrsemajonees

Homemade mayonnaise. This is a piece of cake.  You have to follow a few simple rules and everything is easier than you can imagine.

When I was a child was very usual and popular appetizer eggs with mayonnaise. This combination is still very delicious. But I like this homemade mayonnaise as a simple spread as well. Or prepare different salads. Sour spruce tips are complements other spring vegetables cucumbers, radish and lettuce very well.
I did my recipe with spruce tips. Spruce tips are a little bit tart and full of vitamins.

Important:

  • For the preparation of the mayonnaise, all materials must be at room temperature.
  • If you do not succeed, use classical preparation direction: add oil slowly, stirring constantly
  • Keep your home-made mayonnaise tightly in the refrigerator not more than 5 days

Did you know?  Interesting fact: In Estonia, cottage cheese began to be produced in order to meet the cheese production plan set by Moscow to the USSR. The National Planning Committee of the USSR almost doubled the cheese production of the Estonian SSR for the five-year plan, So, this is the reason why Estonia began to produce cottage cheese which was reported as cheese in the reports 🙂
