Good old Kurzemes Stroganoff! Yummm! I have 1/8th of Estonian in my blood ;). Thank you for linking to my blog! I love that song too, I was surprised it’s in estonian – not latvian! I didn’t know Raimonds Pauls had it on estonian too! 😀

I am glad to surprise you 🙂 (To be honest, I was not very sure whether the Latvians themselves knew that they had such food)

I was surprised you know Kurzemes stroganoff! Is it from Soviet Union time & bistro?! In our family, we cut the cucumber in smaller stripes but I don’t know if it’s the RIGHT recipe 😉

those fermented cucumbers are known only in Eastern Europe😋, it’s a pity because they are delicious, aren’t they? 2 days ago I made the cucumber soup (made with those cucumbers), it’s one of my favourites 🙂 And they are essential in Stroganoff
