Have a dinner with me

Do you like eating? Are you interested in Estonian cuisine? Would you like to meet locals? If your answer is yes, I would like to welcome you to my small and modest apartment for an authentic Estonian dinner experience. Come and eat with a locals!

Estonia is not very known for its cuisine, but you should try at least some of the traditional Estonian food classics when you are visiting Tallinn.

I offer two options: tasting menu with the most important classical ones and/or everyday dinner.
But, if you find from my blog some attempting dishes, let me know, If I have raw material I am ready to cook.
Dinner takes place on weekdays at 7 pm and on weekend suitable time for both of us, let us agree

NB!

  • The menu changes throughout the season.
  • Please inform me of your allergies and dietary preferences.
  • I have a cat
  • My food contains natural ingredients. This is real food with milk and butter.

Tasting menu 35 Eur
Appetizers:

Traditional open sandwich: Estonian rye bread with Tallinna spiced sprats (Tallinna vürtsikilu) or Smoked sprats in oil and egg-butter
Estonian rye bread with smoked elk sausage and fermented Peipsi cucumber
Meat Jelly/Aspic. Sült with Estonian mustard
Salad with Fermented cabbage (seasonal) and cranberries
Traditional Estonian Potato Salad

Desserts:
Kama Cream
Quark Cake
Kohuke

Included in the price: Coffee or tea served at the end of the meal. Apple juice, tap water and mineral water Värska are available. The evening ends with Traditional Estonian liqueur Vana Tallinn

Dinner menu 25 Eur
Pork / or wild mushroom sauce with mulgipuder (mashed potatoes and barley), traditional Estonian cold sour cream sauce and sauerkraut
Traditional Estonian Rye Bread
Beetroot salad with garlic

Semolina Mousse with milk or Quark cake with berry sauce or Kama- Cream 

Included in the price: Coffee or tea served at the end of the meal. Apple juice, tap water and mineral water Värska are available. The evening ends with Traditional Estonian liqueur Vana Tallinn
